I’m running for Charles County Commissioner District 2 because county government is not delivering the results residents deserve.
Too many decisions are made behind closed doors, without clear justification, measurable outcomes, or accountability when things go wrong. Growth is approved without adequate planning. Residents feel unheard. Problems are discussed repeatedly, but real fixes move too slowly or not at all.
That is not acceptable.
I believe county leadership should be judged by performance, not promises. Taxpayers deserve transparency in how decisions are made, how money is spent, and what results are actually achieved. When leadership fails to plan, communicate, or act, residents pay the price through higher costs, reduced services, and declining trust.
My background in military service and community leadership taught me that leadership means responsibility. You own the outcome. You do not shift blame, delay action, or lower standards. That mindset is missing from county government today.
I am running to bring that standard back.
As Commissioner District 2, my focus will be on restoring accountability, demanding better performance from county government, and ensuring decisions are made with residents at the center, not political convenience. This means setting clear priorities, measuring results, and being honest with the public about progress and challenges.
This campaign is not about maintaining the status quo. It is about fixing what is broken, improving what works, and leading with discipline, transparency, and purpose.
Charles County deserves leadership that takes responsibility and delivers results. That is why I am running.
My vision for Charles County is a county government that is accountable, transparent, and focused on results. Leadership should be measured by performance, not promises, and decisions should be made with residents first.
I envision a county that plans responsibly for growth, strengthens public safety, manages taxpayer dollars with discipline, and communicates openly with the people it serves. County government should work efficiently, respond quickly, and be held accountable when it falls short.
This campaign is about restoring trust in county leadership and building a government that delivers real, measurable improvements to quality of life in Charles County.
