If elected as Charles County Commissioner District 2, my first 100 days will be focused on restoring accountability, transparency, and performance in county government. This will not be a listening tour or a symbolic reset. It will be a working agenda with clear actions and measurable outcomes.
Within the first 30 days, I will require a public review of ongoing county initiatives, major contracts, and development approvals to clearly identify timelines, costs, and performance expectations. Residents deserve to know what is being worked on, what it costs, and who is responsible.
I will implement regular public reporting on major county projects, including clear milestones and status updates. Government should not operate in the dark or rely on vague assurances.
County leadership will be held to clear performance standards. In the first 100 days, I will work with the Board and senior staff to define measurable goals tied to public safety, infrastructure reliability, fiscal responsibility, and service delivery.
Accountability will be more than a talking point. When performance falls short, leadership will be expected to explain why and how it will be corrected.
Growth must be intentional and sustainable. In the first 100 days, I will push for a review of major development projects to ensure infrastructure, traffic, schools, and emergency services are planned and funded before approvals move forward.
Growth without planning creates long-term costs for residents. That approach will change.
Public safety is non-negotiable. I will initiate a review of emergency response readiness, staffing, and coordination across county services. This includes identifying gaps, response delays, and funding needs so corrective action can be taken quickly.
Preparedness matters, and county leadership must treat it as a priority, not a reaction.
Within the first 100 days, I will establish regular, structured opportunities for residents to hear directly from county leadership. This includes public forums, accessible updates, and clear explanations of decisions that affect daily life.
Leadership must be visible, responsive, and accountable to the people it serves.
